Hi, I’m Desirae Parks.

I am a licensed massage therapist, graduated from Lane Community College’s massage program, where I now teach four classes.

I am trained in traditional Swedish table massage, craniosacral therapy, TMJ and intraoral work, and I spent three years in an apprenticeship, studying Thai bodywork and Thai medical theory. During that time, I also delved into myofascial work and unwinding, postural analysis, fire cupping, scraping, and more. I often begin your session with postural and movement analysis, then use an array of tools, including hands, forearms, elbows, knees, and feet, as well as cupping and scraping. A session may range from very deep work to very subtle work. In either case, my aim is for the work to be transformative. Be it chronic pain or persistent injury, my goal is to facilitate your body's own natural healing process by addressing holding patterns and imbalances to return you to pain free movement.

I am happy to work either at the table or on a mat on the floor and use my intuition to combine all my skills into a session that fits you.

As somebody who has hypermobile Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome, I am very passionate about working with and educating people about the hypermobile community. My goal is to not only be a safe practitioner for bendy bodies, but to also educate other practitioners to be safe for them as well.

My Aproach

I believe in using whatever methods and tools are necessary to address your individual needs. I operate on the belief that we are more than just a body- we are mind, body, and soul.

I invite you to step into your own unique healing process with me, as you delve into the beautiful wisdom of your mind body connection.
